n August 2019, Oswestry Used Car Centre on Maesbury Road Industrial Estate was broken into.
Thieves smashed their way into the offices, taking equipment and keys to three cars on the forecourt.
These included a top of the range BMW M5, worth £30,000. Alongside the BMW, a Land Rover autobiography, jump start pack and a £7,000 scanner.
However, this is not a one off, the industrial park which has been targeted a number of times.
Christine Evans, owner of Oswestry Used Car Centre stated;
“They used an angle grinder to break into the site and then smashed windows to the office. There are always lorries parked up on the road so I would imagine that the drivers in the lorries overnight would have heard something”
