Sheffield City Centre Restaurant Evacuated

Kommune restaurant in Sheffield city centre had to be evacuated on Thursday 18th April 2019 after reports of a blaze at 10 PM.

The building was fully evacuated before the source of the fire was located to have originated from a bin store off Kings Street.

The blaze is believed to have been started deliberately before an extractor fan brought the smoke into the building.

South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue sent two appliances to attend the incident, which was quickly brought under control.

It is recommended that 30% of your staff are trained as fire wardens. Consequently, these are the people who will take charge in the event of an emergency.
