Man Charged After Sheffield Costco Robbery

A 40 year old male has been charged with robbery, possession of an offensive weapon and driving offences after a raid at Costco, Sheffield on Sunday April 28th

The male, is due in court on June 3rd after no pleas were entered during the initial court hearing.

At 4.40PM two masked men raided Costco after arriving in a blue Ford Focus. They proceeded to run into the store with a hammer and a sawn-off shotgun.

The incident was filmed on the stores CCTV, which showed the men using the hammer to gain access to the Jewellery counter, stealing £12,000 worth of goods.
