Life Saving Equipment Stolen From Football Club

A break-in occurred on Saturday 10th August 2019 at the Austin Arena in Essex. The home to the football side FC Clacton.

The break-in happened within the hospitality suite with a defibrillator being stolen during the incident which went viral on social media.

Following a flurry of donations from well wishers, the club received contributions towards the costs of the damage from other non-league sides and supporters.

The non-league side had the vital lifesaving equipment replaced for free by Cardiac Science.

Club Security Kevin King stated;

“It looks like there was an opportunity and somebody thought it was worth something, I am at loss for words”
