Two of our Assured apprentices are making their way down to London, due to partake in the prestigious IFSEC Engineers of Tomorrow competition 2018, today!
The Engineers of Tomorrow competition is run to recognise the young, talented and skilled security apprentices. Apprentices will compete against each other in an intruder alarm system installation and commission challenge. Furthermore, whilst under pressure and live in front of spectators, apprentices will need to complete the challenge within 90 minutes.
Therefore, we’re proudly putting forward two of our Assured skilled apprentice engineers. Ready for the competition, our apprentices have been training up on their intruder alarm system knowledge.
At Assured HQ, we have a fully-equipt training centre. Our engineers, apprentices and customers can utilise a variety of equipment we have available, for training events or sessions. As a result, our apprentices are now prepared and competition ready!
Running from 19th – 21st of June, our apprentices will be competing with a chance to win £1,000. Heat winners will have the opportunity to attend the Security & Fire Excellence Awards in November. The overall winner of Engineers of Tomorrow will then be announced at the awards ceremony.
In its 20th year, the Engineers of Tomorrow is supported by CSL, NSI, Skills for Security and SSAIB. Of which, security inspectorates from these prestigious companies will, therefore, comprise part of the judging panel.
Wish us luck! #EOT
