Back in February we entered two of our apprentice engineers, Mathew Coates and Callum Ash, in to IFSECs The Engineers of Tomorrow Competition.
A prestigious contest run by the SSAIB to recognise talented security apprentices. The competition took place on June 20th-22nd at the IFSEC event held at the Excel Centre, London.
Our apprentices made the company proud as they competed against over 60 other young engineers in a 90 minute assessment, working together to identify any faults and commission a previously installed intruder alarm system.
Each entrant was marked by a panel of judges from the security inspectorates, NSI and SSAIB, and points were allocated based on performance in the various disciplines. There was also a theory test for the competitors to complete.
Congratulations to both of our our apprentices, and to all those who took part.
