Bespoke Fire Suppression System Installed for CEMEX

Assured Fire & Security is pleased to have been awarded the contract for a Fire Deluge and Fire Alarm System, for CEMEX, one of the largest cement manufacturing companies, in the world! An efficient method of providing fuel for furnaces for the process of cement production, involves burning household waste.

However this is classified as aprocedure and as a consequence CEMEX approached Assured Fire & Security to design a fire suppression and early warning fire alarm system. This design includes a Fire Deluge System which releases water to suppress the fire, backed up by an analogue, addressable fire detection system.

This is monitored by the world renowned signalling system, Redcare, which provides immediate fire brigade response. Two stand alone fixed gaseous extinguishent systems are also provided in the electrical control cabinets, to suppress any electrical fire.
