Camberwell Fire Disaster

The news over the weekend regarding the fire deaths in the Camberwell tower block (London) is tragic and pulls at the heart strings, especially when children are involved.

Over 100 fire fighters were involved and six people died.

We don't know the causes yet and it would be unfair of anyone to comment at this time, no doubt there will be an escape goat and a frantic exercise to see what fire safety precautions either didn't work or were not in place, then a quick upgrade in all associated premises, so this doesn't happen again.

The problem is this is usually too late, so what can we do from now on ?, we can all start by ensuring we have the best possible advice in place 1st.
