Introduction to the FPA
The FPA was first formed in 1964 and is the UK's national fire safety organisation which has support from a number of insurance companies such as The Association of British Insurers (The ABI) and Lloyds.
What the FPA does
The FPA provides training, collates fire statistics, publishes guidance and support for standards and codes of practice to ensure the UK fire industry is one of the best in the world.
Consultancy, training and publications are at its core values and many fire companies, fire services and general non - fire organisations and companies come to the FPA for impartial advice and support.
The FPA is at the centre of technical advice for any issue which requires investigating or clarifications within the fire industry.
