A fixed fire suppression system may not always be possible or affordable, therefore we can provide a cost effective fire suppression system which has no electronic or moving parts. These suppression systems use a local application to extinguish the fire so there is no need to flood the area or close the area to contain the gas.
By utilising a method called Reacton, we can extinguish a fire in small areas such as engine compartments or server cabinets.
How it works
The Reacton tube system works by installing the tube (known as detection tubing) around the area of risk such as a boat engine. The tube is then connected to an extinguisher containing the required gas for the specific risk and when a flame touches the tube a hole is burst in the tube, releasing the stored pressure and gas which extinguishes the fire.
Customer applications
Applications of this type of suppression system include boats, fork lift trucks, server cabinets, filing cabinets and any type of engine.
