The British Fire Consortium (BFC)
Introducing the British Fire Consortium
The British Fire Consortium (BFC) is an independent body of fire safety companies which provides training and advice to independent fire companies across the UK.
Launched in 1983 at the British Safety Awards Exhibition, The BFC also provides consultancy and business advice to its members.
Regular meetings are held to discuss product sustainability, training updates and improve standards across the fire industry.
Membership benefits of the BFC
Over 200 fire companies are members, the BFC is still growing and is one of the largest groups of fire consultants, manufacturer's and service companies in the UK.
Members are expected to provide impartial advice and contribute towards raising standards with in the fire industry.
Regular updates are issued along with quarterly meetings to inform all members of new products, training, standard issues and much more to ensure each member is at the cutting edge of fire safety.
