When it comes to fire suppression systems it is always advised to consult the fire safety experts before attempting to install this important fire fighting equipment which could protect your valuable possessions and respond quickly to a life-threatening fire. The following are a couple of places where suppression systems could prove to be especially useful.

Communications or server room – these kinds of rooms are usually central to everything a business stands for and a blaze could wipe out all the business critical equipment stored within these areas. Therefore, fire suppression systems would be perfect in protecting the room from damage, as the fire could quickly be smothered by an automatically-released gas agent.

A kitchen or food preparation room – These often busy areas are particularly vulnerable to fire as the risks are greater through the use of cooking equipment like hobs and ovens plus electrical goods like microwaves, so fire safety is of paramount importance. These fire safety solutions can detect heat and release an agent to bring the temperature in the area down so the fire is eventually smothered.

In addition to the two examples given above, there are also off-shore working environments such as cargo vessels and tankers which could benefit from this kind of fire safety equipment and engine rooms where the space is limited to fight any potential fires effectively.
